In a stainless steel pot, pour some filtered water. Turn on the heat.
Let some miso paste dissolve into the water as it heats up. Heat up the water but make sure it doesn't boil.
When the water is hot, chop up some firm tofu into small cubes and add. Slice a carrot into thin pieces. Sprinkle some dried wakame (seaweed) into the pot. Throw some green onions in if you have them, or cabbage. It's really up to you.
Put the heat on low and cover the pot. Let it all simmer for 5 minutes or so, making sure it does not boil.
Serve in small bowls so you can have it lots of times!!
