Started out the cleanse today finally, because my mom bought fish for us for lunch on Sunday and I didn't have the heart to tell her I was starting a raw vegan cleanse. Or the stamina to hear her disdain! :-)
So today was all vegan and mostly raw dinner. Steel cut oats with coconut milk and fresh blueberries for breakfast, with decaf Earl Grey. Leftover daal with greens and barley mixed in for lunch. Wanted a juice on my way to a meeting so I got a Green Machine at Vees Cafe on Adams Blvd.
So hungry at 4pm so I stopped for a vegan burrito at El Gallito taco truck (my go to favorite). Gobbled that warm thing so happily.
Dinner was tempeh with peanut sauce and a raw salad of spinach and dino kale from Tony at Wellington market (best dark, crunchy spinach I've ever had!), little plum tomatoes, avocado and lemon juice.
Oops--don't have pictures of today!! Here's a repeat of the daal, but it was more mixed by today!
Headache up the wazoo though!
