Raw Vegan Cleanse (Day Two AM)


This morning we were graced with Monely's smiling face, who came to join us for the night and kick off the cleanse together (as it should be!)

Sofia switched to decaf! A huge success. It's only 9:36am -- we'll see how it goes!

Started out the day with delicious smoothies for all - fresh strawberries, frozen blueberries, frozen banana, almond or soy milk, raw cacao powder, maca, and a spoonful of peanut butter. Yum!

Then I made this raw soup for our lunches today, which comes from Sirena's kickoff recipe:

Blend throroughly:
4 cloves of garlic
half an onion
a red bell pepper
tons of spinach
about a tablespoon and a half (or two) of miso paste (for salt)
an avocado
a few plum tomatoes
some cilantro
a spicy pepper (de-seeded)
water

If we had a better blender/food processor it wouldn't be so chunky still, but oh well! Gives us a little something to chew.


We'll see about dinner....! And snacks!
